OVERALL CHAMPIONS / GOLF CHAMPIONS: Team Elstner – (from left) Matt Dornak, Jason Saavedra, Clayton Besetzny, Kevin Elstner. In addition, Besetzny won the long drive contest in golf.
BOWLING CHAMPIONS: Team Eddins – (from left) Mike Tofel, Phillip Eddins, Neal Beyer, and Anson Hargadine. In addition, Tofel had the highest three-game average.

Adam Bosl rolled the high individual game in bowling and also won the raffle for a bowling ball, which was donated by the Faith Family Fun Center.
Aaron Machac (right), pictured with his son, won closest-to-the-pin in golf.
Ariana Kutac was the winner of the 50/50 raffle.
Twelve four-person teams competed in the SixthAnnual J-Bar-B Foods/Shimmering Waters Ironman Challenge benefiting the Shorthorn Booster Club on Saturday, Oct. 21.
The full-day event started with nine holes of golf at Flatonia Golf Course in the morning. Three games of bowling followed in the afternoon and it concluded with a cornhole tournament, both at Faith Family Fun Center in Schulenburg.
Overall winners was Team Elstner (Matt Dornak, Jason Saavedra, Clayton Besetzny, and Kevin Elstner). The foursome also placed first in golf ahead of Team Wellborn and Team Machac. Winners in bowling were: Team Eddins, first place; Team J-Bar-B, second place; and Team Wellborn, third place. Jarad Trojacek and Kevin Valenzuela won the cornhole tourney for Team Valenzuela.
