Fourth-quarter flurry lifts Horns to 15-point win in Flatonia

While a fast start put the Shorthorns ahead, three touchdowns in the fourth quarter sealed their 43-28 win in Flatonia last Friday.

The Bulldogs had a 44-yard edge in total offense but Schulenburg took advantage of good field position created by five turnovers along with return yardage.

“It was a great second half,” Horn head coach Luke Hobbs said. “We were a little flat at the end of the (first) half and we went in there, we challenged them, we got after them, and they just responded. We made big plays and, when we dropped passes or whatever, we just got to the next play. We didn’t hang our heads.
