The Shorthorns got very few open looks throughout Monday night’s Class 2A bidistrict game and they failed to convert too many times when they did against Hearne’s sticky man-to-man defense. Schulenburg led only once, early in the third quarter, in the 50-39 loss to finish the season with a 22-9 mark.
