The Shorthorn golf team – (from left) Bryce Stoever, Connor Lichnovsky, Reid Janda, Brycen Schramek, and Cooper Demel – started its 2024 season with a first-place finish in the Giddings tournament last week. Individually, Schramek shot the low round in the event with a 79 while Janda placed second with an 82. Other scores for the Horns were: Demel, 94; Stoever, 94; and Lichnovsky, 117.
