The Shorthorns trailed at halftime in all three of their games last week but overcame the deficits to improve to 9-4 on the season. Among the victories were two against District 28-2A foes Shiner and Bloomington to give Schulenburg a 3-1 mark in district play to start this week. The Comanches held the Horns to three first-quarter points in Shiner on Tuesday, Jan. 5 and led 23-21 at the half. …
