After finishing off the regular season with a 23-point win in Weimar last Tuesday, the Shorthorns found themselves tied for first place in District 28-2A because of Flatonia’s victory in Bloomington.
Playoff seeding was then determined by coin flip on Wednesday and Schulenburg won the No. 1 spot. Bloomington entered this week’s bi-district round at No. 2 while Flatonia had to settle for No. 3.
