After a 40-point win over Louise to improve to 2-0 in 28-2A, the Shorthorns dropped three of five non-district games over the Christmas break.
Schulenburg, at 6-13 on the season to start the new year, cruised to a 71-31 victory at home on Dec. 19. With seven different players scoring in the second quarter, the Horns out-scored the Hornets 24-2 to build a 41-10 halftime lead.
