Competing in his third Class 2A state golf tournament last week, Shorthorn senior Reid Janda shot a two-day total of 166.
The event was held Monday and Tuesday, April 27-28 at the par-71 Lions Municipal Golf Course in Austin.
Janda finished in a four-way tie for 38th out of 71 qualifiers. After an 81 in the first round, he carded an 85 on day two.
