After 3-0 win at home last Tuesday, when Ganado totaled only 22 points in three games, the Lady Horns swept the Lady Bulldogs in Flatonia on Friday to stay undefeated and atop the district standings.
For the season, Schulenburg improved to 28-12 and maintained a top 12 position in the latest Texas Girls CoachesAssociation poll for Class 2A.
Leading the way at the net for the Lady Horns in the pair of sweeps were Jessalyn Gipson, with 26 kills, Meredith Magliolo, with 17, and Emmrie Marx, with 14. Magliolo also had a hand in seven blocks.
