Schulenburg High School softball just completed its 29th season and, for all but 12 of those, Gilbert Price has led the team. With last Friday’s bi-district loss, his tenure came to an end.
Price’s resignation was accepted by the Schulenburg ISD Board of Trustees last month, when he indicated his intention to retire at the end of the school year.
