While putting up their best offensive numbers of the season, the Shorthorns gave up over 500 yards in a 63-27 loss to Rice Consolidated at David Husmann Memorial Stadium last Thursday.
The Raiders needed only 34 snaps on offense to score nine touchdowns. Rice had just one third-down play and, when it failed to move the chains, a quarterback scramble on fourth down reached the end zone.
