Hunting, fishing licenses now on sale

It’s August, which means the fall hunting and fishing seasons are quickly approaching. Currentyear Texas hunting and fishing licenses (except the Year-from-Purchase All-Water Fishing Package) expire at the end of August. Licenses for the 2023-24 season went on sale Aug. 15.

The St. Rose Cardinal football team started practice on Aug. 1 with 20 players. This season, the Cardinals have six games on the schedule, all on Wednesdays starting at 5:30 p.m. The home field for the Cardinals is the Schulenburg ISD Stadium. The 2023 schedule includes Sept. 13, St.
