Local Food Pantry serves 136 families during April

The Schulenburg Area Food Pantry served 136 families in April with a total of 405 individuals. The Pantry had five new clients with 13 individuals in those families. The amount of food given out was 7,457 pounds. Food donated was 3,945 pounds. Volunteer hours were 324.

VVA donates to Veterans Outreach Program

A generous monetary donation from Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 was recently received by the Veterans Outreach Program sponsored by VFW Auxiliary 5254 of La Grange to benefit the VA Clinic in La Grange.
