The Gardenia E. JanssenAnimal Shelter hours of operation are as follows: open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday for all normal operations.On Monday, the shelter is closed to the public but staff is on-site for animal care from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The High Hill-Schulenburg branch of Catholic Life Insurance recently made a monetary donation to the Schulenburg Area Food Pantry.

Animal Shelter volunteer appreciation event slated

The Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter will host a volunteer appreciation event on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at 255 Svoboda Lane in La Grange (across the street from the shelter).
