Second Chance gives to Monument Hill/Kreische Brewery

Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $20,000 to the Friends of Monument Hill & Kreische Brewery Historic Sites. Monies donated will be used to build an outdoor interactive exhibit space for educational, self-facilitated and interactive play for children ages 2-12.

GJAS gives statistics

As of March 22, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 312 for the year – 177 dogs and 135 cats in need. As of March 22, the shelter had 108 animals in its care – 59 dogs and 49 cats.

St. Joseph’s in Moulton sets Easter Sunday picnic

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton will host an Easter picnic on Sunday, March 31. The Easter picnic, a Moulton tradition, will be held at the St. Joseph’s Social Center. The day will begin with Mass at 10 a.m.
