The students joined fellow delegates from across Texas to explore the nation’s capital, learn about government and leadership, and experience a oncein-a-lifetime educational opportunity.

Area fifth grade students got a front-row seat to electrical safety in action during Progressive Ag Safety Day. FEC journeyman lineman Mike Proske (left) and lineman apprentice Mason Saleman (right) demonstrate the dangers of electricity using the cooperative’s high-voltage safety trailer, helping students learn how to stay safe around power lines and electrical equipment. Also taking part in the demonstration were FEC safety coordinator Larry Sulak, lineman Aaron Tonn and lineman apprentice Macy Scott.
