The Schulenburg Festival tricycle races and kiddie parade will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1.Both events will take place at Wolters Park under the pavilion on the dance floor.The tricycle races will start at 11 a.m.

Miss Schulenburg and her court traveled to Luling on Saturday, June 27 to represent the Schulenburg Festival organization in the Luling Watermelon Thump parade. The court placed third in their category.

Summer Lunch Program Healthy lunch for children up to age 18 is being provided through “Seamless Summer Operations” at SISD.This includes summer school, Schulenburg Boys & Girls Club (serving at 11 a.m.) and school cafeteria (serving from 11:30 a.m. to noon). There is no service on Fridays.
