More than 175 Angelo State University student-athletes, including James Cason Brown, have been named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2020 spring semester. Brown is listed as participating in men’s indoor track and field, outdoor track and field, and cross country.

Prepaid tuition program’s newborn signup ends soon

Texas families have through Friday, July 31 to enroll their newborns in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund and pay this academic year’s rates for all or some future tuition and schoolwide required fees at Texas public colleges and universities, excluding medical and dental institutions. Newborns are children younger than 1 year of age at the time of enrollment.

Kossa earns master of science degree

Emily Kossa, daughter of Mike and Linda Kossa of Ammannsville, received her Master of Science degree in cell and molecular biology from San Francisco State University on Sunday May 31 in a virtual ceremony. Kossa received the Graduate Distinguished Achievement Award. She was also an ARCS Scholar.
