The Schulenburg 4-H Club collected non-perishable food donations for the Schulenburg Area Food Pantry as part of the Souper Bowl of Caring. The club collected 92 pounds of food. Thanks go to the SAFP for helping keep the community fed!

‘Shattered Dreams’ program scheduled for Feb. 9

Every two years, the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department coordinates with local first responder agencies to present a “Shattered Dreams” program to educate high school students about the dangers of distracted driving.The event has been planned for Monday, Feb. 9 at 9 a.m.

Navidad Valley CattleWomen offered a collegiate scholarship for the third year, with this one being special as it was the inaugural Elsie Farek Collegiate Scholarship named in honor of one of NVCW's founding members.
