Library to host free folk concert; new book listed

The cold winter weather has arrived but everyone is invited to pass the time away with an awesome book from the Schulenburg Public Library.On Saturday, Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to noon, a free folk music concert featuring Hungrytown from Virginia will be held at the library.

Entries sought by DAR in America’s Field Trip contest

The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) are sponsoring a unique opportunity for youth in grades 3-12 to participate in a nationwide contest that invites students to share their perspectives on what America means to them.
