St. Rose of Lima Catholic School was blessed to have 11 students participate in the Private School InterscholasticAssociation (PSIA) State Academic Meet on Saturday, April 12 at Texas State University in San Marcos.

Students of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in grades 1-8 had the opportunity to participate in the District 9A Private Schools Interscholastic Association (PSIA) meet held on Saturday, Feb. 15, at St. Michael’s Catholic School in Cuero. A total of 39 St. Rose students participated in 100 events.

ACCSS sets session on becoming college faculty

ACCSS will hold an information session on Wednesday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Blinn College- Schulenburg campus, 100 Ranger Drive, in Room 120, for anyone interested in exploring teaching at a college level and who believes he or she may have the qualifications.

The St. Rose of Lima Catholic School eighth graders attended the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral in Victoria on Tuesday of Holy Week, April 15. It was a beautiful celebration with the bishop and all priests and deacons of the diocese together.

SES pre-K, kindergarten registration set April 24

Registration for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students planning to attend Schulenburg Elementary School during the 2025-26 school year is scheduled for Thursday, April 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.Schulenburg Elementary School will offer full-day pre-kindergarten classes once again next year.
