Following a full-capacity class last fall, the Blinn College-Schulenburg campus is once again offering its highly popular, noncredit heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) certification course this summer.

Two Fayette County 4-H members entered the agricultural public speaking contest held at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo on March 15-16.They were as follows:•Crockett Guenther of the Schulenburg 4-H came in fifth overall in the junior division and his topic was “Marketing Behind the Label.

Seventeen Fayette County 4-H members formed five teams which competed in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Food Challenge contest on Tuesday, March 18.Results are: •Simmer Down placed first in the side dish category of the junior division and advanced to the final round.

Schulenburg Little League opening ceremonies will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 11 a.m. at the Sports Complex.Team photos will be taken before and also afterward, with games starting at noon.
