The Miss Schulenburg court participated in the Shiner Half Moon Holidays parade on Saturday, July 4 in Shiner and received a second place banner. This was the last parade of their reign.

St. Rose students earn honor roll recognition for 2025-26 school year

St. Rose of Lima Catholic School students received certificates for achieving the high honor roll or honor roll for the 2026-26 school year, as follows:
Reagan Dusek (center), Schulenburg High graduate, received the Ginger Stanzel Bosl Memorial Scholarship for 2026. On hand for the presentation were Melanie Ramirez (right), Stanzel Family Foundation program director, and Ruby Rodriguez (left), 2025 Ginger Stanzel Bosl Scholar.
