During the last week’s arts and crafts program at the Schulenburg Unit of the Boys & Girls Club, members participated in creating decorations for Thanksgiving such as making hand turkeys and utilizing feathers for a more festive appearance around the Club! SVFD recognizes fire poster winners

The Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department recognized students who were winners in the fire prevention poster contest at its meeting on Thursday, Nov. 14.

SHS National Honor Society food drive brings in 4,148.8 pounds of items

The Schulenburg High School National Honor Society hosted its annual food drive to collect non-perishable items to donate to the Schulenburg Area Food Pantry. The goal was to collect 1,000 pounds, but the students of SISD went above and beyond to collect 4,148.8 pounds!

Parents As Teachers Day celebrated

Parents As Teachers (PAT) of Rural South Central Texas celebrated National PAT Day on Friday, Nov. 8 with a vibrant event themed “Dance & Donate through the Decades.
