St. Rose Science Club members enjoy outing to Stryk Jersey Farm

Bob and Darlene Stryk of Stryk Jersey Farm welcomed the St. Rose Science Club for a second time on Tuesday, Nov. 12.Science Club members were greeted by a two-week-old dairy calf as they arrived at the farm.

Turtle Wing campaign under way

Turtle Wing Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is holding a matching funds campaign from Nov. 1 until Dec. 31.During this time, all donations to Turtle Wing Foundation will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000 (with $5,000 each generously donated by J Bar B Foods and Freyburg Hall).

The Fayette County 4-H junior livestock judging team finished as the reserve champion at the Harris County Livestock Judging Contest on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Gerald D. Young Agricultural Center in Katy.
