St. Rose early registration for 2024-25 under way

St. Rose of Lima Catholic School is holding early registration for the 2024-25 school year from March 4-29. Registration for new students in grades 3K-8 may be completed at the school office weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Flatonia ISD Art Dept. to have exhibit, reception

The Flatonia ISD Art Department will present a student artist reception for the Yammy Wammy 2024 Student Art Show at the Southern Produce Art Gallery in Flatonia on Monday, March 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. The reception will feature a variety of art by students in grades pre-K through 11.

Stanzel scholarship applications due Apr. 3

The Stanzel Family Foundation (SFF) is accepting scholarship applications for the 2023-24 school year for its highly-coveted Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship offers up to $15,000 to deserving high school seniors living in Schulenburg or Weimar school districts.

The Fayette Extension Education Association Council scholarship, given in honor of former County Extension Agent Nettie Mae Freudenberg, is now open to qualified county applicants.

Navidad Valley CattleWomen (NVCW) are seeking applicants for their 2024 scholarships. A total of $12,000 will be awarded to students graduating from high schools in Fayette, Colorado and Lavaca counties.
