Hunter safety certification course set

Deer season opens on Saturday, Nov. 4, and the regulations require any person born after Sept. 1, 1971 to have an official hunter education certificate to hunt in Texas. Friends of the Weimar Public Library will offer a second hunter safety certification class for those unable to attend in July.
