Senate, House begin budget reconciliation process The Texas Senate unanimously approved a $308 billion twoyear budget last week, the Austin American-Statesman reported. The next step is to reconcile that budget with one passed earlier by the Texas House.

Fire engulfs camper, pickup on I-10 west of Flatonia

A 911 call reporting a pickup pulling a camper on fire on Interstate 10 westbound near the 658 mile marker was received by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday, April 11 around 6:53 p.m., according to Sheriff Keith Korenek. The location is about three miles west of Flatonia.

A 2009 Toyota Scion caught fire while traveling on Interstate 10 near Flatonia on Saturday, April 15. Flatonia Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the scene and extinguished the fire.

A 911 call reporting a vehicle fire on I-10 westbound near the 661 mile marker near Flatonia was received by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office on Saturday, April 15 at 3:08 p.m., according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.
