Wildfire danger continues to rise As we cross the halfway point of July, wildfire danger continues to increase across the state. On Friday, Texas A&M Forest Service firefighters responded to 15 new wildfires that burned 651 acres.

Tri-County Friends of NRA event slated for July 29

The 17th annual Tri-County Friends of NRA event is coming soon. The 2022 event will be held on Friday, July 29 at the Schulenburg KC Hall. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for games, drawings, live auction and fun. Individual tickets are $20 and a reserved table of eight is $500.
