The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office assisted Special Ranger Kenny Murchison of the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association in detaining suspects for the theft of three head of livestock to be sold at Flatonia Livestock Commission, according to Sheriff Keith Korenek.

Applications being taken for Master Naturalist training

The Gideon Lincecum Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists is now taking applications for its 2026 training class.The class will run for nine Saturdays and five Monday night Zoom sessions from Saturday, Jan. 10 through Saturday, May 16, 2026.
