Pct. 4 crew cleans trash from county roadways

The Fayette County Precinct 4 road and bridge crew set out across Precinct 4 picking up trash along the county roadways on Tuesday, March 25.“It is sad to see the massive amounts of litter that end up along our roads,” Drew Brossmann, Precinct 4 commissioner, said.

Soil testing campaign being held thru Apr. 11

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Fayette, Washington,Austin and Colorado counties is conducting an urban and homeowner soil testing campaign from Monday, March 31 through Friday, April 11.All plants need adequate amounts of nutrients to grow and flourish.

Lunch-&-learn on ‘Efficient Water Use’ set in La Grange

The Bluebonnet Master Gardener lunch-and-learn topic this month, “Efficient Water Use,” will be presented on Tuesday, April 8 at the Fayette County Agricultural Building, 255 Svoboda Lane, La Grange. Registration will be held from 11:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. and the program will last until 12:50 p.m.
