Grass fire in Cistern area burns about 25 acres

A 911 call reporting a grass fire on Bar Ranch Road west of Elm Creek Road (southwest of Cistern) was received by Fayette County dispatch on Monday, Sept. 9 around 1:40 p.m., according to Sheriff Keith Korenek.

Inspections to no longer be required for non-commercial vehicles effective Jan. 1, 2025
