Schulenburg 4-H Club holds clothing drive

Blinn encourages students to complete FAFSA form

The Blinn College District encourages all current high school and college students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to become eligible for financial aid, including grants, loans and work-study programs.

National Honor Society holds food drive for SAFP

The Schulenburg High School National Honor Society hosted a food drive last month that brought in 550 pounds of food for the Schulenburg Area Food Pantry. Both the junior high and high school campuses participated in this project and helped the NHS exceed its goal of 500 pounds. Thanks go to everyone who helped to make the food drive a success. Turtle Wing taking part in #Giving Tuesday

Celebrated on the Tuesday after U.S. Thanksgiving, and fueled by the power of social media and collaboration, #GivingTuesday inspires millions of people across the globe to give back to causes and issues that matter to them. The goal is to create a massive wave of generosity that lasts well beyond that day, and touches every person on the planet. This year, #GivingTuesday takes place on Dec. 1.
