KCs hold food drive for Schulenburg Area Food Pantry

Schulenburg Knights of Columbus Council 2902 held a food drive benefiting the Schulenburg Area Food Pantry on Sunday, Nov. 22. The event was in connection with the November drive-through meal. A total of 135 pounds of food products and $1,245 in monetary donations were collected.

Footprints of Fayette

The Fayette County “Walk of History,” comprised of 60 tiles spaced out around the perimeter of the Courthouse lawn, is now complete. The chronological timeline, beginning in 1519 and ending in 2005, highlights the most significant historical events that occurred in the county. Recognizing that some people are physically unable to walk around the square, the “Walk of History” will be divided into installments and published in “Footprints of Fayette,” sponsored by the Fayette County Historical Commission.
