Three individuals were arrested for possession of drugs by the Schulenburg Police Department in three separate incidents on Aug. 29 and 30. Last Wednesday at approximately 12:45 p.m., SPD officers responded to a report of a person asking for money at Shorthorn Express.

SPD apprehends 18-year-old for drugs, gun

An 18-year-old from Lake Jackson was arrested by the Schulenburg Police Department following a traffic stop in early morning hours of Tuesday, Aug. 22. According to the SPD report, officers pulled over a 2004 white Lexus sedan at around 2:05 a.m. for displaying a fake buyer’s tag.
