An Order was signed by Fayette County Judge Dan Mueller and unanimously approved by the Commissioners Court at its meeting on Thursday, July 13 that restricts outdoor burning. Residents are warned to refrain from burning anything, including kitchen trash and brush piles.

The Fayette County judge toured the brand new Emergency Medical Services office in Schulenburg at 219 Medical Parkway recently. The new facility is equipped to primarily serve residents in the Precinct 4 area of the county. “This has been a long process,” EMS director Josh Vandever said.
