State unemployment rate decreases slightly in Sept.

The Texas seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 4.0 percent last month, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from August, according to the Texas Workforce Commission. During that span, Fayette County’s rate (not seasonally adjusted) fell by the same amount.
