SHS state qualifiers

On the medal stand at the Class 2A Region IV track & field meet, held Friday and Saturday, April 29-30, are Lady Horn sophomore Meredith Magliolo and Shorthorn senior Keanu Anthony. They placed first and second, respectively, in the high jump to earn a trip to the U.I.L state event.

FFA livestock team places at state competition

The Schulenburg FFA livestock team of (from left) Madyson Holub, Grant Kubala, Blane Warnken and Blake Meyer competed in the Texas FFA State Livestock Contest at Texas A&M University on Saturday, April 30. A total of 94 teams from across Texas and 340 individuals qualified for the state contest.
