The Juneteenth Committee announces the final schedule of events for the weekend of June 17-19. Events will be held at the Randolph Recreation Center*, 653 E. Pearl St., La Grange, unless otherwise noted.

Burn ban enacted for Fayette County

The Fayette County Commissioners Court decided to place a ban on all outdoor burning effective immediately at its meeting on Thursday, June 9. It was stated that the majority of the county volunteer fire department chiefs were in favor of a burn ban due to the ongoing dry conditions.
