Agreement for computer-aided dispatch system approved

A license and service agreement between Tyler Technologies and Fayette County for the computer-aided dispatch system was approved by the Commissioners Court at last week’s meeting. The system will be paid for through the funds received by the County from the American Rescue Plan.

County election precincts cut to 12

An order reconfiguring election precincts in Fayette County was approved by the Commissioners Court at its regular meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 24. Elections Administrator Terri Hefner said the plan is to adjust the current 26 election precincts and redistrict them, thereby leaving 12 precincts.

Five Schulenburg FFA teams qualified for the Area XI Leadership Development Events held on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Boling High School. The members participated in Senior Skills, Junior Skills, Radio Broadcasting, Ag Advocacy and Ag Issues.
