Sticker staff has found out that an ad with the heading “Caregiver Needed” is fraudulent. As of Monday, July 26, three readers had contacted the Sticker with information of irregularities when answering the advertisement.

Even with the disruption that COVID-19 caused to education, Schulenburg ISD was able to increase its scores on state testing. Superintendent Duane Limbaugh, in his presentation to the Board of Trustees last week, noted the number of areas in which the district exceeded state averages.

During a special meeting Monday, July 26, the Fayette County Commissioners Court approved a three-percent pay increase for all elected officials in the 2022 proposed budget. Also included is a three-percent raise for County employees.
