A program to drug test Schulenburg ISD students could be in place by the spring semester or for next school year. The Board of Trustees, at its regular meeting Monday night, instructed Superintendent Duane Limbaugh to pursue the idea.

St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Schulenburg is proud to announce a first-place national award winner in the Catholic Daughters of America annual education contest.

Student Council raises funds for cancer awareness

Each year during October, the Schulenburg ISD Secondary Student Council raises money to promote cancer awareness. The proceeds go to benefit a family that has been adversely affected by this disease. This year, the Student Council sold T-shirts to benefit Frank Schindler.
