Families brought together for ‘Little Readers, Big Adventures’

The Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum was buzzing with imagination and laughter as 133 community members gathered for Little Readers, Big Adventures, a free early childhood literacy event held on Sept. 6.

Young Farmers Hay Show reserve champion

Reserve champion in the Schulenburg Young Farmers hay show at the Fayette County Fair was Mark Stang with a BMR sorghum entry in Class 5 (sorghum hay). Stang’s hay sold for $1,800 at the auction held on Thursday, Aug. 28 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange.
