On Wednesday, July 31 at approximately 1:10 a.m., Deputy Cody Williams stopped a vehicle on Interstate 10 westbound about 10 miles west of Schulenburg near the 664 mile marker for a traffic infraction.According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, consent was given to search the vehicle.

Schulenburg Police Department officers responded to the 1300 block of Kellett Avenue on Sunday, Aug. 4 at approximately 9 a.m. in reference to a stolen vehicle.The victim reported that it was taken sometime during the previous night from the residence.

Fayette County emergency crews responded to a bee attack on Thursday, Aug. 1 in Schulenburg, the third bee swarm-related incident in a two-day span, according to Fayette County EMS Director Josh Vandever.He urged that residents use caution when mowing or taking part in outdoor activities.
