State unemployment stays steady at 4.1% in September, area rates drop

The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in Texas remained at 4.1 percent last month, according to the Texas Workforce Commission.Fayette County’s rate (not seasonally adjusted) fell four-tenths of a percent from August to 3.2 percent.
