City appointments OK’d

The annual appointment of officials and boards/committees for the City of Schulenburg were approved by the City Council at its meeting last week. The complete list follows.

EDC’s $200,000 loan to new business, budget amendment to add funds approved by Council

The Schulenburg Economic Development Corporation got the go-ahead from the City Council to loan $200,000 to a new business, Andre Eye and Optical, PLLC.The process starts with an application to the EDC and its Board of Directors voting to proceed with the project.
