FAYETTE COUNTY CZECH HERITAGE SOCIETY
The Fayette County Czech Heritage Society fall meeting will be held Sunday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center’s Hanslik Hall in La Grange. Following the meeting, there will be creative Czech games as well as longtime favorites such as dominoes, cards and taroks, and a Svačina (snack). Members are asked to bring a snack to share. Guests and potential new members are always welcome – Vítáme Vás!
SCHULENBURG YOUG FARMERS
The Schulenburg Young Farmers will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 22 starting at 7 p.m. at the Schulenburg Expo Center. Program chairmen are Benedict and Dianna Kallus and Mike and Sheri Dittrich. Guest speaker will be Fayette County Extension agent Scott Willey and the topic will be mealy bugs.
