Walter Wayne Franz of Hutto, also known to many as Bubba, left this earth surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, at the age of 81 after a courageous fight with cancer.

Fred Theodore Muras passed away on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022 at the age of 91. The funeral Mass was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in High Hill on Wednesday, Nov. 2 with Fr. Jasper Liggio officiating. Pallbearers were the eight grandsons and honorary pallbearers were the six granddaughters.

Bernice Vrana Pokluda passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 peacefully at her home in Schulenburg with family by her side. Bernice was born May 10, 1947 to Charlie, Sr. and Emma Vrana. She grew up working very hard raising her seven younger siblings after her father passed away at the age of 39.

Barbara Wick, age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022. On Nov. 16, 1937, Barbara, and her twin sister, Patricia, were born to Thomas and Irene (Welch) O’Dell in Hughes Springs, Texas.
