Marcus Linn “Mark” Barackman, 59, of La Grange, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, with his wife by his side. Mark courageously fought cancer for a little more than 2 years. Mark was born in Canton, IL, on May 12, 1962, the son of Bobby and Mary Alice (Lederbrand) Barackman.

James Brossmann of Schulenburg passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at age 81 years, 7 months, 9 days. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with entombment in the St. Rose Mausoleum. Fr. Scott Hill officiated.
