American Legion McBride Post 143 and Auxiliary Unit will hold their annual Christmas party on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at the American Legion Home in Wolters Park. A social will start at 6 p.m. followed by the meal and awards presentation at 7 p.m.Dress is casual with Legionnaire cap.

The Schulenburg High class of 1961 celebrated its 64-year reunion on Friday, Oct. 17 with a catered meal at Clint Boriack’s farm north of Brenham.

The Schulenburg Literary Club met on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the Schulenburg Public Library.Hostesses Ginni Berwick, Betty Herzik, Kathy Koch and Gerri Morgan decorated the meeting room with Thanksgiving elements.
