Simmons -Lemons -AdamsThe Simmons, Lemons and Adams annual family reunion will be held Saturday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Blase’s Hall (361-798-2978) near Hallettsville. Blase’s is located on Highway 90A nine miles east of Shiner and approximately 3½ miles west of Hallettsville.

Sr. Connections: hub of activity, fellowship

At Senior Connections, an activity center dedicated to seniors age 55 and up, friendships flourish over games, delicious food and camaraderie. Located in Schulenburg, with satellite centers in Weimar and Flatonia, the center is excited for the week ahead.

Tri-County Friends of NRA event slated for July 25

The 21st annual Tri-County Friends of NRA event is coming soon. The 2025 event will be held on Friday, July 25 at the Schulenburg KC Hall. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for games, drawings, live auction and fun.Individual tickets are $30.

Second Chance gives to Fayette Co. Helpers Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $2,500 to Fayette County Helpers. Monies granted will be used to fund back-to-school haircuts and backpacks for students.

Jason and Brooke Cummins of Hallettsville are thrilled and blessed to announce the birth of their twins, a boy and a girl, on Sunday, May 25, 2025!Mason Cole was born at 8:19 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 18-1/2 inches in length.Madison Jade was born at 8:21 a.m.
