Lady Horns eliminate No. 6 Skidmore-Tynan

Lady Horns take out Thorndale 3-0 in area

Building on the momentum of a 27-25 win in the first set, the Lady Horns finished off Thorndale in the area round with a 3-0 sweep last Thursday in Giddings. At 34-12 on the season, Schulenburg was scheduled to face Skidmore-Tynan in a Class 2A Region IV quarterfinal on Nov.

Lady Eagles brought down in bi-district on Oct. 31 in Cuero

With 14 aces, the Lady Horns cruised to a 3-0 bi-district sweep of Woodsboro last Tuesday in Cuero and improved to 33-12 on the season. Madison Kunschick got Schulenburg off to a good start with two aces early in the first set.
